Final of the Student Startup Competition “TAU Startup Battle 2025”
The final round of the student startup competition “TAU Startup Battle 2025” took place at Turan-Astana University, organized within the framework of the University Development Program (Strategic Direction 5 — Entrepreneurship and Startup Culture Development).
The competition aims to support innovative initiatives of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as to foster a startup culture within the university.
The finalists presented their projects to a panel of experts, showcasing solutions in the fields of technology, the creative industry, sustainable development, and social innovation.
Faculty members and staff acted as mentors, helping teams to refine their concepts and business models.

1st Place:
Project: DocuMind
Team: Karina Filippi
Description: An online platform for generating legal documents using AI, with features for collaborative editing and interactive consultations.
2nd Place:
Project: Rage Time
Team: Dias Kadarkul, Marlen Sultan, Erik Ailmansur
Description: A safe stress-relief service featuring a soundproof cabin with QR access, a mobile app, and an integrated neural network for emotion analysis.
3rd Place:
Project: BIZTAP
Team: Adilet Baimuratov, Evgeniya Tsai, Valeria Khlebnaya, Anel Koshkarbayeva
Description: A digital platform for entrepreneurs designed for client search and service management.

Description: The use of drones and artificial intelligence to assess the condition of facilities and environmental indicators.

Description: A virus control system for public spaces — an arch-type scanner equipped with laser sensors, a thermal imager, and biosensors.

The “TAU Startup Funding Challenge” competition has been announced — offering grants for the implementation of innovative and entrepreneurial projects (startups) by Turan-Astana University students on a non-repayable basis.
