Grant Projects and Scientific Research

The faculty members of the department are actively involved in the implementation of research projects aimed at the development of modern humanitarian studies.

Under the leadership of Professor K.M. Abisheva, a scientific grant is being implemented on the topic: "Studying the ethnic conceptosphere of the nation and thinkers of the past through approaches, principles, and methods of cognitive-ethical linguosynergetics — a new humanitarian knowledge." The project is focused on the study of national-cultural concepts and the development of interdisciplinary approaches in the humanities, making a significant contribution to the development of the Kazakhstani philological school. The department is an organizer and active participant in scientific and educational events at various levels.

Events We Organize

International Forum of Translators of Kazakhstan — an annual event uniting scholars, practicing translators, and specialists in intercultural communication to discuss current professional issues, exchange experience, and establish professional contacts.

Scientific and Methodological Seminars for teachers and students dedicated to modern translation methods, literary text analysis, and issues of intercultural communication.

Roundtables on topical problems of linguistics and translation studies with the participation of invited experts from Kazakhstan and abroad.

Trainings and Masterclasses on practical translation, work with translation software, and public speaking, conducted by leading practicing translators and department faculty.

Conferences We Participated In
