A 3rd-year student of the EP "International Law" took 3rd place in the republican Olympiad.

On May 13, 2023, students of the EP "International Law" of the Department of National and 
International Law of the University "Turan-Astana" took part in the Republican Subject Olympiad
 in International Law among undergraduate students of higher educational institutions of the 
Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Olympiad was organized by the KIMEP University School of Law. The Olympiad was held in 
three stages.
The first round was held in the form of testing in various branches of public international law. 
The language of the first round is Kazakh. The second round is a written assignment on public 
international law. The language of the second round is Russian. 
The third round was attended by 10 students who scored the highest points according to the 
results of the first two rounds, among which were 3 students of our university. The third round 
was in the form of oral answers to questions on public international law. The language of the 
event is English.
In total, 25 students took part in the Olympiad: teams of universities "Turan-Astana" University, 
Gumilev ENU, Al-Farabi KazNU, E.A. Buketov KarU, Narkhoz University. 
According to the results of three rounds, Elmira Kabilzhapparova, a student of the MP-20-2 
group, took the honorable 3rd place. 
I would like to express my great gratitude to the rector of the University "Turan-Astana" 
Dzhaparova Gulzhamal Alkenovna in organizing the preparation of students for the Olympiad. 
The victory in the Olympiad is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the University "Turan-
Astana".
