Information

International cooperation is an integral part of the activities of the TAU University and an important tool in ensuring the quality of education and its compliance with international standards.

Participation in major international forums and membership in reputable industry associations is not only accessible today, but also the most effective and natural tool to increase the recognition of the University and organizations abroad, promote their interests and develop business cooperation.

The geography of international cooperation of the university is quite wide. Currently, the university's foreign partners in the field of education and cultural cooperation are educational institutions, scientific institutions, international organizations from Bulgaria, Turkey, Latvia, Russia, China, Romania, Spain, Switzerland and other countries.

Joint projects and seminars are organized with professors from abroad, lectures are given for students, undergraduates and doctoral students.

At Turan-Astana University, academic mobility is implemented in accordance with the Rules for organizing the educational process on credit technology of education dated October 30, 2018 № 595, Rules for the direction for studying abroad, including within the framework of academic mobility (as amended and supplemented on 05/14/2020 No. 203.), Regulations on academic mobility of students and faculty of the university (approved in 2020).

Over the years of cooperation with these universities, we have been developing and deepening our relationships in various areas (development of joint educational programs, exchange programs, practice abroad).

The speakers held simenars as part of an academic exchange. The speakers were leading foreign lecturers, practitioners and specialists: Komarov V.V., Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Developmental Psychology Tambov State University named after G. Derzhavin, Russian Federation; doctor, Ph.D. Ruslana Selezneva (Poland); Associate Professor Vesselina Spassova from Varna Free University “ChernorizetsHrabar”; Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Academy. Jakub Z. Paradyza, Poland, Janusz Sobon; Ali Nassiri, Professor, Allameh Tabatabaei University, Iran; Sufyan Bin Uvayer, Master of Science in Information Technologies; Master of Arts in English; Professor from the Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) State University of Stuttgart, SES expert Klaus Subtil and many others.

One of the key areas of foreign inter-university cooperation is the development and implementation of joint educational programs that are aimed at providing students with the opportunity to study at foreign universities and receive two diplomas - from the Turan-Astana University and a diploma from a foreign partner university.

A double-degree program is a program in which a student travels to a partner university for the purpose of studying and subsequently obtaining a diploma from a partner university and a diploma from Turan-Astana University.

The advantages of such training are international experience; the possibility of obtaining two diplomas, Kazakh and foreign for 4-5 years; employment prospects after graduation, mastering progressive knowledge from leading teachers.

The partners of the University "Turan-Astana" in the programs of double-diploma education are:

  • Varna Free University. Chernorizets Brave (Varna, Bulgaria);
  • Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property".

Partnership with Varna Free University Chernorizetsa Khrabra (VFU) gives students the opportunity to study under the double diploma program for educational programs of bachelor's and master's programs. Upon completion of this program, the graduate receives two diplomas: a diploma of his own sample from the Turan-Astana University and a diploma of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (diploma of the European Union).

The duration of study at both universities is four academic years - 8 semesters in total, for a total of 240 ECTS credits. Language of instruction for the undergraduate program: Russian and/or English.

Training is conducted according to the following organizational model:

First, second and fourth year: 6 semesters - training takes place at TAU University (170 ECTS credits).

Third year: 2 semesters - training takes place in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (60 ECTS credits). Training is carried out in a mixed form - visiting the APU and through an Internet platform with scheduled attendance days for consultations and exams. The maximum length of stay in Bulgaria for students is up to 60 days divided into two visits - up to 45 days at the end of the third academic year for the examination session and after the end of the fourth academic year up to 15 days for the state examination.

Students who complete the chosen educational program receive a bachelor's degree and a European Diploma Supplement from the Varna Free University named after. Chernorizets Khrabr”, which gives them the right to work in their specialty in the EU countries, as well as a bachelor's degree from the University of Turan-Astana.

Since 2020, a double diploma program has been implemented in the educational program "Design" of the University "Turan-Astana" and "Computer and Computer Science" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - 5 students of the OP "Design" are studying at the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Further, it joint educational programs were developed with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, such as "Business Finance", "Economics and Intellectual Property Management".

In addition, the possibilities of implementing double-diploma education with such university partners as Turiba University (Riga, Latvia), Burgas Free University (Burgas, Bulgaria), Moscow State Pedagogical University, Belarusian State University are being considered.
