In recent days, all the attention of the world has been focused on Turkey
and Syria, where a major earthquake occurred, which caused numerous
human casualties and large-scale destruction of infrastructure facilities,
destroyed historical and cultural monuments.
On behalf of the staff of the Turan-Astana University and on our own
behalf, we express our deepest condolences to the entire Turkish and Syrian
people, wish a speedy recovery to the victims, and like the entire world
community, the university staff expressed readiness to provide humanitarian
assistance to the victims.
Humanitarian aid and a book of condolences have been delivered to the
Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Kazakhstan.
