Culinary Journey "Gastronomic Kaleidoscope" The Department of Design, Service, and Tourism organized an exciting culinary journey, "Gastronomic Kaleidoscope," where students and guests explored the traditions of three national cuisines. Kazakhstan – hospitality in every dish: meat delicacies, dairy products, and the famous baursak, symbolizing the rich nomadic culture. France – refined flavors: baguettes, croissants, and cheeses—an exquisite gastronomic heritage of Europe. Korea – harmony of spice and fermentation: kimchi and other dishes reflecting the culinary traditions of East Asia. Future professionals in tourism and service, studying the disciplines "National Cuisines of the World" and "Gastronomic Tourism," not only participated in the event but also took on its organization, showcasing their knowledge and skills. A special highlight of the event was a masterclass by Baktybek Zhomart (Event Catering), where participants discovered the secrets of professional cuisine. Contests, prizes, and a cozy mini-buffet with aromatic tea and coffee created a warm and memorable atmosphere. The Department of Design, Service, and Tourism actively engages students in hands-on activities, fostering appreciation not only for their national culture but also for the traditions of other nations. We extend our gratitude to the students who organized the event:RGB-23-2, T-23-2, UST-24-2, USRGB-24-2. Supervisors: Atikeeva S.N., Kamenova M.Zh., Salmenova S.K. A big thank you to all participants for their enthusiasm and culinary inspiration! May new flavors open up a whole world of traditions and cultures for you!
