Debaters from "Turan-Astana" University have shown meaningful debates in Karaganda

      Republican Debate Tournament for the Rector's Cup of Karaganda State 
University named after academician E.A. Buketov was held on April 1-2, 2023 in 
Karaganda. The best 32 teams from all regions of Kazakhstan were invited to 
participate in the Republican Debate Tournament. Astana, the capital of 
Kazakhstan, was represented by the team "TAU A" consisting of Madina 
Zhumaseit and Diana Raisova from Turan-Astana University. The debate was held 
in the state language according to the rules of the British Parliamentary format. 
Team "TAU A" showed excellent debates in the qualifying rounds and by the 
decision of the panel of judges entered the play-off stage of the Republican 
Debate Tournament. 
       Team "TAU A" was accompanied by Rustam Kalikov, Chairman of Debate Club 
"Speaker" of Turan-Astana University, the titled debater of Kazakhstan.
        For their fruitful performance in the Republican Debate Tournament the 
team "TAU A" has been awarded with the Letter of Gratitude on behalf of Nurlan 
Dulatbekov, Chairman of the Board - Rector of Karaganda State University named 
after academician E.A. Buketov. 
        We would like to note that Rector of Turan-Astana University - professor 
Gulzhamal Japarova pays great attention to development of debating movement 
within the walls of our university.
