Information Regarding Transportation Cards for Individuals Under the Age of 18

The upcoming school year is just around the corner. We encourage you to secure your school transportation card now to avoid queues at the ticket office later.

As you're aware, in the capital city, transportation is free only for students under 18 who reside in Astana and its suburbs. To obtain the card, students should possess a personal school transportation card, which will be used to pay for bus fares.

There are two methods to acquire the school transportation card: either at the Central Cash Desk located at Koshkarbayev Avenue, 50/1, or through the website www.transcard.kz. For registration, you will need the following documents: a birth certificate with IIN (ID card), an educational institution certificate (to confirm the student's enrollment), and one 3x4 photo.

The cost of issuing a school transportation card is 1000 tenge, with a reissuance fee of 2000 tenge.
