"Meeting on Language Teaching and the Status of the State Language: Open Dialogue with Orazkul Asangazi"

On February 26, the Department for the Development of Languages and Archives of the city of Astana organized a meeting with Orazkul Asangazi, a state and public figure, laureate of the Parasat and Kurmet orders, who sympathizes with the language, on the topic “Teaching and the status of the state language,” organized by the communal state institution “Rukhaniyat” . The event was held in the format of an open dialogue, where a comprehensive exchange of views on language policy issues took place.
During the meeting, students asked questions about the status and use of the state language, the advantages of switching to the Latin script, and shared their thoughts. Also composer J. Otegenov M. Having performed Zhumabaev’s song “I am a Kazakh,” the students gave the youth special spiritual strength.
At the end of the evening, the head of the department of Social, Humanitarian and Linguistic Disciplines, Ph.D., Associate Professor A.B. Donbaeva thanked Orazkul Asangazikyvna for the instructive lecture and expressed her wishes.
