Round table dedicated to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On December 4, 2024, a Round Table dedicated to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan for students and postgraduates was held at the Turan-Astana University, organized by the Higher School of Law and Humanities.
Opening the event, the moderator of the round table, Mirgul Maidanovna Narbinova, emphasized that the Republic of Kazakhstan consistently adheres to the spirit and principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, embodied in national legislation.

The reports and speeches of the round table participants touched upon current issues of the implementation of human rights and freedoms, as well as the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, embodied in national legislation, on the improvement of international and national mechanisms for the protection of human rights, etc.

During the round table, an interested and constructive exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues related to the implementation of human rights and freedoms.
At the end of the round table, the participants noted the important role of such meetings in the development of education of the young generation of the country. All participants were awarded certificates.
