SUMMARY OF YOUTH FESTIVAL "JASTAR JALYNY-2023"

The most extensive and spectacular youth festival "JASTAR JALYNY-2023" has concluded at the E. Rakhmadiyev State Academic Philharmonic in the capital.

The festival has been held for 10 years and has become a beloved event for students, with preparation becoming a collective effort for every participant. In 2023, 13 universities from the city of Astana took part.

"JASTAR JALYNY" is a cultural event that brings together hundreds of youth and creative groups, uniting them with the common goal of developing in a creative direction. The festival fosters a spirit of unity, teaches the value of healthy competition, and reveals the internal potential of students. The atmosphere throughout the event was filled with friendly warmth and positive emotions.

From December 5 to 10, students from Turan-Astana University participated in eight categories, securing prize-winning positions in the following nominations:

In the intellectual game "Qazaq quiz," TAU (Turan-Astana University) secured the 1st place. The team consisted of Ermuqasheva Irikhana (2nd year, US-PD-22-1), Shakenov Bauyrzhan (4th year, E-20-1), Qanatbekuly Bauyrzhan (4th year, MP-20-1), Zharylqasyn Aibolat (1st year, IS-23-1), and Umirtau Feruza (2nd year, MN-22-1).

The student club "TAU ROCKET," established in 2018, claimed the 1st place in the "Modern Dance" category. The club is led by Dayana Adantaeva (4th year, PD-20-1).

In the "Media" category, the student club "JASTAR TAU" secured the 1st place with their video. The team included Yuliana Eberle (1st year, Diz-23-2) and Askar Tengebay (4th year, GMU-20-1). The team addressed the important issue of "BULLYING AND HARASSMENT IN OUR SOCIETY."

In the "Estrada" category, 2nd-year Translation Studies student Alua Qazybayeva secured the 2nd place.

The award-winning groups received monetary rewards and valuable prizes.

In the overall team standings among the 13 universities, Turan-Astana University secured the 2nd place!

Following the festival, a celebration was held at TAU to honor the creative competition winners. During the gathering, the university's rector, Gulzhamal Alkenovna Japarova, emphasized that organizing such creative contests helps students discover new talents, provides new opportunities, and wished the students continued success in their creative endeavors.
