The age of digitalization has opened up new horizons for graduate students for learning, research and professional development. Internet technologies and electronic libraries have become an integral part of the educational process, offering a wide range of tools and resources that can be effectively used in graduate studies.

On November 14-15, 2024, as part of practical classes of PhD doctor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Language Disciplines Askaryzy Samal, an online visit to the electronic library of the Turan-Astana University was organized together with 1st and 2nd year graduate students of the specialties "Pedagogy and Psychology" and "Management in Education" of the department with Russian-language instruction.

The visit to the electronic library was organized with the purpose of:

- Familiarizing graduate students with the functionality of the university's electronic library.

- Teaching skills in searching for scientific information for completing coursework, dissertations and research projects.

- Improving digital literacy.

- The postgraduates were introduced to the opportunities and advantages of the Turan-Astana electronic library.

- The participants were shown how to use the interface of the electronic library, including searching by keywords, filtering results and accessing full texts of documents.

- The postgraduates completed assignments to compile a bibliography of the disciplines they studied.

- Particular attention was paid to databases such as e-Library and international resources (if available).

- The participants asked questions about access to paid articles, the use of bibliographic managers and technical aspects of working with the electronic library.

The visit to the electronic library of the Turan-Astana University turned out to be useful and productive for the postgraduates. The knowledge and skills acquired will contribute to improving the quality of their scientific work. And this event also proves that the Turan-Astana University has the appropriate development in the era of digitalization, providing the opportunity to have access to knowledge 24/7.
