“Femida” Scientific Club Meeting as Part of Science Week
As part of Science Week – 2025, a regular meeting of the “Femida” scientific club was held under the chairmanship of Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor Z.K. Karazhanova.
Students presented their research in the state language under the guidance of A.M. Rakhymbekova, senior lecturer of the Department of National and International Law. The topics of the reports were:
– Amina Malisheva: “Artificial Intelligence and Design: Paradigms of Copyright in Kazakhstan, China, and the USA”
– Ulzhalgas Zholbarisova: “Labour Disputes: Legal Regulation of Special Employment for 16-Year-Old Minors”
– Adiya Ramazanova: “Combating Domestic Violence: Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and International Practice”
– Akerke Avezkhanova: “School Bullying: Legal Regulation Approaches”
– Dina Nabioldanova: “The Role of Copyright in National Culture: The Experience of Protecting Traditional Ornaments”
The meeting was held in a thoughtful and academic atmosphere. The students demonstrated a high level of preparation and genuine interest in current legal issues.

At Turan-Astana University, another meeting of the scientific club “Themis” was held.
Students presented reports on current topics in the field of law and social sciences:

Meeting of the scientific club "Femida" on 02/27/2025
A regular meeting of the scientific club " Femida " was held today under the chairmanship of Doctor of Philosophy Karazhanova Zh.K. Students of YUP-22-1 under the guidance of senior lecturer Kakimzhanova N.T. made presentations in the state language: Makhambet Nuray on the topic "Kazakhstan men shet elderdegi enbek kukygyn salystyrmaly taldauy", Kanapiya Dilnaz on the topic: "Ayelderdin enbek kuyktary zhane ten mumkindikteri", Tuymeshbek Kazyna on the topic "Enbek daulary zhane olardi sheshu zholdary", as well as a student of gr. US-MP-23-2 Nikitina Sofya with a report on "Some problems of the prosecutor's participation in the civil procedure of the Republic of Kazakhstan", scientific supervisor Sataeva A.B.
Participation in the scientific club "Femida" indicates that students have mastered the theoretical material and are ready for a critical understanding of existing legal norms, pay attention to gaps in legal regulation and existing conflicts of law. It should be noted that it is important for students to participate in the scientific circle, as this is taken into account when awarding personal grants and academic mobility. We invite everyone to plunge into the world of scientific discussions right now in our Femida scientific club.
The end of the academic week was marked by a meeting of the Themis scientific circle. The students of the YUP-23-1 Sulaimanova K. groups made presentations (The topic of the report was "Kazakhstan Republikasyndagi memlekettik kyzmet. Memlekettik kyzmetke kiru, otker zhane toktatu tartinin yerekshelikteri") and Murataliev K. (Topic of the report: "Zhumys uakyty zhane demalys uakyty") under the scientific guidance of senior lecturer Kakimzhanova N.T. After the presentation, the reports were discussed and recommended for revision\
One of the most important aspects of teaching at the N and IL department is research activities, including with students. Since the opening of the circle, each teacher has selected the best students, fixed the topics of scientific reports and the schedule of speeches.
At the next meeting of the Themis circle, reports were heard in the state language by students of the YUP 23-1 group Amangeldinova A.A., Yerkin R.N., Serikova A.K., YUP 23-3 Abuova B.N., Absali F.B. under the scientific guidance of senior lecturer Dusanbekova M.A.
The reports were recommended for participation in scientific and practical conferences.

We cannot but be pleased with the growing interest of students in scientific research in the field of law. The scientific circle “Themis” has become a kind of platform for discussions, participating in which students learn to conduct qualitative research. Moreover, they hone their public speaking skills, which is undoubtedly important in the legal profession. This time, reports were heard from students of the YUP 21/1 group Diana Esmagambetova, Sovetbek Asylzat under the guidance of N.T. Kakimzhanova and students of the YUP 22/1 group Turoboev Hakimjon, Saparova Ulzhan under the guidance of A.M. Rakhymbekova.

The speakers of the Themis scientific circle - fourth-year students Ilyasova Natalia and Nauryzbayeva Aidana under the guidance of senior lecturer Sataeva A.B. voiced relevant and interesting topics in the field of science of civil procedure law. Ilyasova N. reported on the problem of Artificial intelligence in civil proceedings, Nauryzbayeva A. spoke about the problems of scientific research in the field of law in the AIFC court. Separately, we want to note that the topics of reports in English have already been tested at the International Scientific and Practical Conference in Dortmund, Germany. In a solemn atmosphere, the speakers were congratulated by PhD, Associate Professor Karymsakov R.Sh.
