Research activities
The research activity of the faculty of the department "Business Administration" is aimed at achieving the main goal - the training of specialists with modern professional skills and qualifications in the fields of economics, management and public administration.
The number of scientific publications of teaching staff in the department of "Business Administration" has a positive growth dynamics every year. The number of published monographs and scientific articles has increased in journals with non-zero impact factor Thomson Reuters and Scopus ("Actual Problem of Economics scientific economic journal", "Life Science Journal", "Economy of the region"), as well as in journals recommended by KKSON MES RK (journal "Economics: Strategy and practice", journal "Economics and Statistics", Bulletin of the University "Turan", "Bulletin of the National Academy"), RSCI (journal "Questions of Economic Sciences", journal "Bulletin of IDNC", journal "Social and Economic Systems", journal "Economics. Right. The state", etc.).
The teaching staff of the department develops and publishes scientific and methodological and educational materials, textbooks, multimedia educational complexes, which are complete, unique and in-demand products involving flexibility, adaptability, variability of the content of tasks and educational technologies: textbooks of Professor U.Zh. Teaching staff of the department actively register their scientific achievements in the form of copyright certificates, patents. So, there is an author's certificate No. 2362 IS 010113 dated 16.10.2017 for the textbook of associate professor B.M. Iskakov "Innovation Management", No. 0294 IS 0033767 dated 15.02.2016 for the electronic textbook "Theory of Finance". Copyright certificate No. 12286 IS 010113 dated 01.10.2020 for the textbook "Baga kalyptastyru" by associate professor G.K. Bekbusinova.
The department cooperates with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of National Economy, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Institution "Department for Public Development of Astana", RSE "PSC of Baikonur district" Astana, LLP "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", Astana, LLP "Zheldorexpertiza", NCE RK "Atameken", as well as with leading commercial banks and enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Astana. There are acts of implementation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 13.11 2017 No. 5-1-9/5096-4 for the textbook "Innovation Management" by Associate Professor B.M. The department carries out international exchange of students, undergraduates, doctoral students and teachers with foreign partners. Undergraduates and doctoral students undergo scientific internships at universities such as the Varna Free University. Chernorizza Khrabra, University of Economics-Varna (Varna, Republic of Bulgaria), "Global Career Institute" (Baku, Azerbaijan), University of Santiago de Sherome (Santiago de Compostela, Spain), University of Malaga (Spain), Kostroma State University (Kostroma, Russia), Samara State University University of Railways and Communications (Samara, Russia), Omsk Regional Institute (Omsk, Russia), HSE, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), etc. For example, students Zhagiparov N.A., Manabaev A.M., Bekenova M.A., Kasatkin M.E., Saifunova S.A., completed a scientific foreign internship at the Omsk Regional Institute on the topic "Innovative methods of personnel management"; Ospan A. at the Varna Free University, Bulgaria; Sagynbekov E., Balanbaev D. at the Clobal Career Institute, Istanbul Turkey.
The Department of Business Administration hosts public lectures by invited foreign and domestic scientists, representatives of business communities, scientific seminars of the faculty of the department, round tables. Thus, the students of the department attended the following special courses of foreign scientists: "Current issues of the labor market, tourism and economic development trends in Bulgaria and Kazakhstan", lecturer - Associate Professor of Economics and Business Services, Director of the Center for Continuing Education of the International Business School (MBBU) Stella Baltova (Botevgrad, Bulgaria); "Business Management", lecturer - Master of Economics and Business Administration" Oscar García de Serdio, University of Malaga (Spain); "City Economics", lecturer – Doctor of Economics, Professor, Director of the Institute of Regional Studies and Urban Planning of the HSE Ilina I.N. (Moscow, Russia); "Application modern packages of applied programs in scientific research and final qualifying works", lecturer, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the University of Economics G.V. Plekhanova T.A. Dubrova (Russia, Moscow); Course on management and IT projects, lecturer PhD - Medeni Tunc Durmush (Turkey, Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University).
In addition, guest lectures are held with the invitation of practitioners: "Concepts of sustainable economic development, its strategies and the impact of the banking system of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (lecturer - Head of the Department of Eurasian Bank Mukanova M.T.); "Big data analysis with practical projects" (lecturer - Director of the Data Analysis Department of JSC National Information Technology Company Zhukenov R.); "Blockchain in Kazakhstan: trends and prospects" (lecturer - General Director of Interactiv Kazakhstan LLP Kudaibergenuly N.).
Students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the department actively participate in research work. The department has a student scientific circle (NSC) "Business club", the head of the circle is B.M. Iskakov, Ph.D. in Economics. Monthly at the meetings of the circle, projects are defended and topical issues of modern economics and the organization of business processes are discussed. At the same time, students and undergraduates of the department annually take part in regional and international, republican subject Olympiads.
According to the results of the conducted research, students, undergraduates make presentations at meetings of scientific circles, round tables, international and republican student conferences. Thus, students, undergraduates of the specialties "Economics", "GMU", "Management" actively participate in the work of the traditional annual international interuniversity scientific and practical conference of young scientists of TAU.
