Grants of the University "Turan-Astana"

1. Rector's Grant Competition

Rector's grants are awarded annually based on the results of an internal competitive selection process aimed at motivating and improving the quality of education, and supporting talented and goal-oriented youth.

Competition Conditions:

  1. High scores on the Unified National Testing (UNT) (95 and above).
  2. Possession of the "Altyn Belgi" distinction.
  3. Certificates, awards, and diplomas confirming prize-winning places in national and international olympiads, projects, and scientific competitions over the past 3 years.

The competitive selection is held from July 1 to August 23. The results of the competition will be announced on August 24. The members of the university's internal grants and discounts award committee determine the recipients of the Rector's Grants based on UNT scores, the presence of an honors certificate or diploma, and the quality of the submitted portfolio.

3. Competition for Discounts and Tuition Fee Reductions

At Turan-Astana University, the tuition fee for the 2024-2025 academic year for bachelor's degree programs is 900,000 KZT for full-time study.

As a form of social support for applicants, the following discounts are provided:

  • Applicants with the "Altyn Belgi" distinction are granted a 100% discount for 4 years of study, provided their UNT score is 95 and above, with at least 5 points in each subject in one of the UNT sessions (January, March, June, August). Applicants with the highest scores and extensive portfolios have the opportunity to receive a Rector's Grant for 4 years (until August 23).
  • Applicants, based on the results of the Rector's Grant competition committee, can receive a discount ranging from 10% to 100% depending on the quality of their portfolio for 1 year of study.
  • Holders of honors certificates are granted a 50% discount for 1 year of study (minimum UNT score of 95).
  • Participants in the Turan-Astana University subject olympiad are granted discounts: for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places – a 100% discount for one year of study; for 4th, 5th, and 6th places – a 50% discount for one year of study; for 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th places – a 30% discount for one year of study (provided they have any UNT certificate with a minimum score of 90, and at least 5 points in each subject).
  • Graduates of intellectual schools: "Daryn," "Nazarbayev Intellectual School," and "Bіlіm Innovation" are granted a 50% discount for all years of study (minimum UNT score of 95).

Discounts are not provided to students whose education is funded by enterprises.

Admission to TAU takes place from August 10 to 25. Applicants must fully submit the required documents, sign the contract, and make a 30% prepayment if enrolling in a paid program.
