Visiting Professor Shares Valuable Expertise: Lectures and Participation in TAU’s Research Projects

International cooperation plays a crucial role in the development of higher education by facilitating the exchange of knowledge, technologies, and best practices. As part of the partnership between Kazakhstan and Ukraine, and through the successful collaboration between Turan-Astana University (TAU) and Sumy State University, we are honored to welcome Professor Yevhenii Anatoliiovych Lavrov from the Department of Information Technologies. He is delivering guest lectures for TAU students, enriching their academic experience.

Professor Lavrov E.A. brings 42 years of experience in science and education. He is the author of over 400 scientific publications, including 73 indexed in Scopus, with an h-index of 17. His expertise extends to the development and implementation of university management information systems, which are successfully operating in 20 universities. Additionally, he has held key leadership positions, including Head of Department, Director of Institutes, Vice-Rector, and Dean.

Together with Professor Lavrov E.A., TAU faculty and students are discussing pressing issues such as digitalization in education, the integration of AI and Big Data into the learning process, and the importance of innovative technologies in university management. From the very first days of his visit, he has been actively sharing his knowledge on developing and implementing distance learning systems and adaptive educational platforms.
