Tourism, design and service department students's success in the international arena

In December 2020, Russia hosted the International Competition "Student of the Year 2020", which was attended by Baimbaeva and E. Pak., the 2nd year  "Tourism" students of TAU university. More than 300 applications were submitted for the competition in various nominations: "Young Researcher", "Leader of the Year", "Foreign Student of the Year", "Volunteer of the Year", "Creative Personality of the Year", "Starosta of the Year" and others.The competition was attended by students from Kalmyk State University, Volgograd State University, Kuban State Agrarian University named after I.T. Trubilin, Rostov State Economic University, Kabardino-Balkarian State Agrarian University, Buryat State University named after V.I. Dorzhi Banzarova, Rostov-on-Don branch of the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography named after V.I. S. A. Gerasimov, Ural State University of Economics and many other Russian universities.

As a result, K Baimbaeva became the 3rd degree winner in the "Foreign Student of the Year" nomination and the 3rd degree laureate in the "Young Researcher" nomination.

Pak E. was awarded the 3rd degree laureate diploma in the nomination "Starosta of the Year"

From 5 to 27 February 2021 at the Karaganda State University named after academician E.A. Buketov, together with the Institute for Digital Economy Research, the III International Remote Competition of Scientific Works "Sustainable Tourism Development" was held.

2 teams participated from our university:

"Aura" - as part of the team E. Pak, A. Satova, T. Saduev (supervisor S. Atikeeva) and the team "Tigers TAU" consisting of A. Tureul, S. Tileubek, D. Esengeldi (supervisor Karazhanova M.K.)

The competition was attended by 24 teams from higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan and the CIS countries: Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Russian Federation); Russian State University of Tourism and Service (Russian Federation); Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (Republic of Belarus); Gorno-Altai State University (Russian Federation); Saint Petersburg State University (Russian Federation); University of International Business (Republic of Kazakhstan); NARKHOZ University (Republic of Kazakhstan); Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University (Republic of Kazakhstan); Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata, etc.

According to the results of the jury, in the individual standings, the II degree diploma was awarded to Temirlan Saduev, who played as part of the "Aura" team.
