The named scholarship of Toktar Aubakirov

A solemn ceremony of awarding certificates to recipients of the named scholarship "Hero of the Soviet Union, People's Hero," pilot-cosmonaut, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Toktar Ongarbayevich Aubakirov, took place at Turan-Astana University.

The named scholarship was established to support the most talented and capable students. Its goal is not only to reward the academic and scientific achievements of students but also to help them gain confidence in choosing the direction of their future professional activities. Over the course of 12 years of its existence, 60 university students have become recipients of this scholarship. Each academic year, the scholarship is awarded to the top 5 students whose achievements align with the requirements of the Regulation on the named scholarship, which was approved on August 30, 2011, at a meeting of the Academic Council.

In her welcoming speech, the rector of Turan-Astana University, Gulzhamal Alkenovna Japarova, noted that the hall was filled with the best students who rightfully earned their awards for outstanding achievements in academics, science, and public life. She also wished them new scientific discoveries, victories in competitions, and contests.

In a ceremonial atmosphere, Toktar Ongarbayevich handed out certificates to the recipients of the named scholarship. Addressing the scholarship recipients, Toktar Ongarbayevich emphasized that these young individuals are the "Pride of our university."
