"Miss TAU 2019" beauty contest
Each year, representatives of faculties compete in beauty, grace, talent and erudition.
8 beauties of our university took part in the competition. A lot of tests had to be overcome by the participants in the fight for the title of the beauty of the year: numerous rehearsals, lessons, an exclusive master class on “Defile” under the guidance of the dispeller “FP Models” Sergey Gerashchenko, preparation of creative issues, exciting minutes of anticipation of the start of the competition and now it has happened! The competition was held in several stages, each girl was offered a mandatory program - defile and presentation of their talents.
The colorful performances in which the dances of the peoples of the world were presented: spectacular and colorful Indian dance, Kazakh folk dance, as well as modern dance from the student group “TAU Fam”, along with the lush, rich colors of the contestants' appearances fascinated the audience.
Equally beautiful and interesting in their own way, they presented all their best qualities: grace, plasticity, elegance and a creative approach.
According to the test results, the best was selected by a jury composed of Natalia Ryabko, director of the model agency FP Models, Madi Butina, executive director of the international model agency Velada Models, Miss Astana 2018 Yerkenaz Seyfully, senior specialist of the youth policy department Tastemir Akulan, as well as youth chairwoman politicians of ENU Almaz Patshakhanov.
Catwalk in luxurious evening dresses completed the competition program. As a result, each participant won in a particular category:
1st Vice-Miss - 1st year student of the specialty "Law" Natalia Mikhaleva;
2nd Vice-Miss - Obaidullina Medina, Economics, 1 course;
Miss Grace - Catherine Rudneva, Jurisprudence, 2nd year;
Miss “Zhastar Zhyly” - Orazymbetova Tursynay, Economics, 1 course;
Miss Instagram - Assel Nurkhalieva, Translation Studies, 1 year;
Miss Charm - Dayana Baymakanova, Tourism, 1st year;
Miss Creative - Aidana Kusherbayeva, Tourism, 1 course.
By the unanimous decision of the members of the jury, "Miss TAU 2019" became a first-year student of the specialty "Translation Studies" Alina Zharylgapova. Participants were awarded with diplomas and prizes from sponsors, partners and university management.
According to the leadership of the university “TAU”, such events contribute to the increase of not only the moral and educational potential, but also the cultural and aesthetic level of students, which is a great contribution to their development, primarily as individuals.
