Yerlan Kudys, Postdoctoral Researcher in Economics, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor.
Yerlan Kudys was born on November 14, 1969, in Altai City, PRC. In 1993, he graduated from the Central National University with a degree in "Economics and Management." The same year, he began working as an assistant in the Department of Management at the Faculty of Economics at Xinjiang University.
- 1999: Earned a Master’s degree in Management from Xinjiang University.
- 2004: Pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Bologna in Italy under the supervision of Professor Lula Zan, specializing in Small and Medium Enterprise Management.
- 2009: Defended his Candidate’s dissertation at Narxoz University.
- 2013: Completed a postdoctoral dissertation in Economics at Xinjiang University.
He is currently a Professor at the Department of Business Administration at Turan-Astana University. Over his career, he has held various prominent roles, including Professor of the Faculty of Economics, Director of the MBA Case Center, and Head of the Department of Business Administration at Xinjiang University. He has also been an honorary professor and visiting professor at institutions such as Eurasian National University, Narxoz University, Kaspiy University, and Akhmet Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University.
Research Interests:
Chinese economy, Central Asian economy, internal control in management.
Achievements:
- 2013: Awarded the title of Professor in "Economics and Management."
- Recipient of the "Best University Teacher" grant in China.
- Honored with the title of Chief Expert in Economic Sciences in 2015.
- Since 2010, has been the winner of the First Prize for Pedagogical Achievements at Xinjiang University.
Publications and Teaching:
- Authored and edited 11 books, textbooks, and reference materials.
- Supported and participated in 55 national, provincial, and ministerial projects, as well as domestic and international research projects.
- Published 55 educational and research papers, as well as 50 peer-reviewed scientific works.
- Supervised 15 Master's students and 8 PhD candidates in China and 4 PhD candidates and 7 Master's students in Kazakhstan.
- Delivered MBA and EMBA courses to hundreds of students, including programs at Southwest University of Finance and Economics and Peking University.
- Authored over 80 scientific works, including monographs and educational materials.
