SCHOOL OLYMPIADS

School Olympiads of the University "TAU University" allow applicants to receive additional points to their UNT results when applying to "TAU University". Competitions in mathematics, physics, geography, and the history of Kazakhstan are held in one or two stages – qualifying and final. Registration is required to participate in any Olympiad.

For the in-person stages of all Olympiads, participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before the start. The required set for students remains the same: an ID document and a pen.

However, in addition to the Olympiads of the University "TAU University", there are also a number of national and regional competitions recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which also provide admission benefits. Winning a subject Olympiad implies two groups of benefits. The first guarantees admission to the chosen university without exams. The second group allows the applicant to receive 100 points for one exam subject or an additional entrance test. As a rule, the weight of the benefits depends on the level of the Olympiad won. The list changes every year, so applicants should monitor this information.
