The guarantee of the realization of the constitutional right to participate in
elections is the inclusion of you in the list of voters.
The lists are compiled by local executive bodies (akimats) on the basis of
permanent registration at the place of residence on the territory of a particular
polling station. Citizens who do not have permanent registration are included in the
lists on the basis of an application submitted to the akimats at their location.
Every citizen who will not be able to arrive at the polling station at the
place of his registration on the day of voting, no later than thirty days before the
day of voting or on February 17, 2023, has the right to submit an application to the
relevant akimat and register at the polling station at the place of his actual location.
Upon receipt of an appeal, the akimat will organize the exclusion of a
citizen from the list of voters at the place of registration and his inclusion in the list
of the polling station where he will vote.
This right can be used by: - citizens who know that they will not be at the place of registration on the day of voting;
- nonresident students studying in higher and secondary specialized educational
institutions, living outside of dormitories;
- citizens working in shifts.
A citizen may be included in only one electoral list, taking into account a single national electoral district, as well as single-mandate territorial electoral districts.
You can check your inclusion in the list of voters at the place of registration through the website or the Call Center of the relevant akimat.
From March 4, 2023, you will be given the opportunity to check your data in the voter list at your polling station.
