NotesDay | Exchange of Teaching Experience

Teaching Practices: Lecturing in Large Groups. Experience Exchange – a NotesDay format meeting that was successfully held on March 28, 2025, at 14:00.

The goal of the event was to discuss effective teaching methods for large audiences, exchange experiences, and find solutions to increase student engagement and improve the quality of education.

The seminar was conducted by PhD in Philosophy, Professor L.A. Umirzakova. During the meeting, participants discussed key challenges of teaching in large lecture halls, including:

• difficulty in maintaining students' attention throughout the lecture;
• insufficient active interaction and low level of student engagement;
• limited opportunities for personalized feedback, among others.

Teachers shared effective methods for increasing student engagement, explored examples of interactive formats, and discussed digital tools that help make learning more engaging and productive.
