Opening of the New Academic Building
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Turan-Astana University, a new academic building was unveiled.
Aligned with the university's strategy until 2025, creating comfortable conditions for students and faculty is deemed as a crucial step in the university's transformation.
On April 17, the opening ceremony of the new academic building of Turan-Astana University took place. The event was attended by President of the Association of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, R. A. Alshanov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, G. S. Djarasova, the first cosmonaut, T. O. Aubakirov, and others.
During her speech, the rector of TAU, Gulzhamal Alkenovna Japarova, noted, "We have constructed a modern eight-story building for students and faculty, which serves as an excellent gift on the occasion of the university's 25th anniversary. We aimed to build a campus that reflects our aspiration to be the best, one that satisfies all the needs of both students and faculty."
Following the formal proceedings, guests were invited to a guided tour of the new facility.
