Documents are accepted from 20 June to 25 August.
List of documents to be received:
- A document on secondary or higher education with an annex (original + copy);
- Certificate on the results of the UNT;
- Medical certificate form 075 + x-ray;
- Certificate of awarding an educational grant (if any);
- 8 3x4 photos in size;
- Copy of identity card;
- Copy of vaccination card 063 (full-time training);
- Copy of the certificate or military card (for boys full-time training).
Number of test items on the UNT:
The number of UNT test items is:
1) History of Kazakhstan - 15;
2) Mathematical literacy - 15;
3) Literacy reading (language of instruction) - 20;
4) on the first profile object - 35 (max. number of points - 45);
5) on the second profile subject - 35 (max. number of points - 45).
The maximum number of points is 140 points per UNT.
The maximum number of points for applicants entering the OT "Design" and "Decorative Art and Ethnodizayn" is on the UNT - 125 points.
Passing score - 55 points (for each item you need to score at least 5 points). The exception is the "Jurisprudence" and "International Law" curricula, where the threshold score is 75, and for each subject it is above 5.
International certificates
Applicants who have international IELTS certificates are exempted from taking the profile subject or special discipline «Foreign language (English)» in English in the UNT.
As a result of 6.0 points and above will count 45 points on the UNT special discipline «Foreign language (English)». The IELTS certificate (if available) must be submitted to the university by July 20.
Introduction of a scale of conversion of points of international standardised tests SAT, ACT and IB into UNT scores. Applicants holding these certificates are exempt from the UNT if there is an appropriate threshold point*. They may also compete for an education grant. The transfer of SAT points to the UNT is subject to SAT Reasoning and SAT Subject certificates. The results of the SAT Subject are converted into UNT points, provided that the profile subjects match. Applicants with certificates of international standardised tests SAT, ACT, IB, for the transfer of points to the UNT must provide certificates to the PPENT before July 5, etc.
Government grant
Applications for participation in the competition for awarding state educational grants are accepted from 16 July to 25 July. The contest dates from 26 to 31 July.
