    • Coordinator for the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

    Mission - Turan-Astana University strives to provide high-quality and accessible education, advance scientific research, and develop responsible leaders who contribute to the sustainable development of society, the economy, and the environment in line with the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

     

    Vision - To become a leading regional university shaping the future through innovation in education and science, promoting the principles of sustainable development, and preparing highly qualified professionals capable of addressing the key challenges of the 21st century.

     

    Functions of the SDG Coordinator

     

    1. Strategic Planning

    • Integration of SDGs into the university’s strategy and policies
    • Identification of priority areas in line with UN goals

     

    2. Coordination and Management

    • Organization of collaboration between schools, departments, and administration
    • Monitoring the implementation of SDG initiatives and projects
    • Development of recommendations for improving the university’s activities in the field of sustainable development

     

    3. Project Development and Implementation

    • Initiation of educational, research, and social projects
    • Support for student initiatives and startups in sustainable development

     

    4. Monitoring and Evaluation

    • Tracking SDG performance indicators and outcomes
    • Preparation of reports and analytical materials

     

    5. Education and Awareness

    • Integration of SDG topics into academic programs
    • Organization of trainings, seminars, and events
    • Organization of professional development for faculty and staff on the application of the SDGs

    6. Partnerships and External Relations

    • Cooperation with government bodies, businesses, and international organizations
    • Participation in national and global initiatives

     

    7. Communication and Promotion

    • Promotion of sustainable development ideas
    • Implementation of information campaigns and social projects

     

    8. Resource Management

    • Securing funding (grants, partnerships)
    • Efficient use of university resources
