Aikumbaev Talgat Moldybekovich

Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor

 

Born on September 23, 1975, in Almaty.

In 1997, he graduated from Abai Almaty State University with a degree in Law.

From 2002 to 2006, he completed postgraduate studies in Law at Abai Almaty State University.

In 2006, he defended his Candidate of Sciences (PhD equivalent) dissertation at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the topic:

“Administrative Offenses Encroaching on Public Order and Morality.”

In 2014–2015, he completed an academic internship under the Bolashak international program at Kiel University (Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, Germany), Institute of East European Law.

Research topic: “Mediation and Other Pre-trial Dispute Resolution Mechanisms.”

From 1997 to 2006, he worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Civil Law and Procedure, Faculty of Law, Abai Almaty State University.

From 2006 to 2014, he served as Head of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines at the Institute of Justice of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2015 to 2016, he headed the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines at the same Institute.

From 2016 to 2020, he worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2021, he served as Coordinator of Continuing Education Programs at the Center for Academic Programs and Projects of the Academy of Justice.

Since 2022, he has been an Associate Professor at Turan-Astana University.
