Irgibaeva Nazilya Mukataevna graduated in 1971 from the Kazakh Pedagogical Institute named after Abai with a degree as a teacher of Biology and Chemistry from the Faculty of Natural Geography.
She worked at the Abai KazPI in the Department of Pedagogy from 1971 to 1974.
From 1974 to 1982, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology at the Semipalatinsk State Institute named after N.K. Krupskaya.
From 1980 to 1982, she completed an internship in Moscow at the Lenin Institute at the Department of Higher School Pedagogy and Psychology.
From 1982 to 1985, she worked at the Research Institute named after I. Altynsarin in Almaty. From 1985 to 1990, she worked as a senior lecturer and associate professor at the Department of Psychology of the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical Institute.
From 1991 to 1992, she was Deputy Director of the Institute for Advanced Training in Almaty and taught psychology at Abai Almaty State University.
In 1993, she became Deputy Director for Science at the Institute of Educational Problems named after I. Altynsarin in Almaty.
From 1994 to 2007, she worked at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2007 to 2016, she worked as an associate professor at the Department of Psychology at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
Since 2017 to the present, she has been an associate professor at the Department of Psychology and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines of Turan-Astana University.
