Yenggebai Aidana Aidarkyzy
Master of Art Studies, Lecturer

Born on November 4, 1995, in the Raiymbek district of the Almaty region (Southeastern Kazakhstan). She received her first professional education at the T. Zhurgenov College of Arts, graduating in 2015 with a degree in "Animation Artist."

From 2015 to 2019, she studied at the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts at the Faculty of Film and Television, majoring in "Artist and Animation Director." She graduated with honors on a state grant. Between 2019 and 2021, she completed her Master’s degree in "Film and Television Directing," further enhancing her professional qualifications.

Her career began in 2017–2018 at Bilim Media Group as a flash animator and illustrator, where she actively participated in developing educational animation projects. During this period, she created animated Kazakh language lessons for schoolchildren, performed animation in Adobe Flash CS6, and handled sound-image synchronization. She also developed characters and illustrations in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, focusing on artistic solutions and visual design.

In 2019, she worked at the Kazakhfilm film studio as an artist and animator, expanding her professional expertise. She participated in AR projects, 3D modeling, character creation, and animation. Additionally, she worked on animated segments for music videos, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, and frame-by-frame visualization.

Since 2020, she has been working as a Costume Designer at the State Youth Theater of Astana. She has contributed to the costume and stage design of several significant productions, including:

"Sylań Qyz" (Zh. Aimauytov, directed by A. Maemirov) — Costume Designer;

"Manshuk" (M. Omarova, directed by A. Maemirov) — Costume Designer;

"Qyz Zhylaǵan" (R. Mukanova, directed by A. Maksim) — Costume Designer and Scenographer;

"Amre" — musical play (directed by A. Maemirov) — Costume Designer;

"Theatre World" Project (directed by A. Maemirov) — Costume Designer;

"S.O.S" (M. Omarova, directed by A. Gumarov) — Costume Designer and Scenographer;

"Nauryz Duman" (M. Akhmanov, directed by E. Myrzakhmet) — Costume Designer and Scenographer.

In 2024–2025, she taught at "Shabyt" University. Since 2025, she has been a lecturer at Turan-Astana University, teaching students majoring in "Ethnodesign."

Achievements:

In 2017, she was awarded a certificate for participating in the best animation clip competition within the Goethe-Institut Kazakhstan project "Urban Spaces: Green Energy of Astana."

On May 21, 2025, in honor of the Day of Culture and Art Workers, she was named the Laureate in the "Best Costume Designer" category.
