“Zhastar Ortalygy” is a student organization under the Department of Youth Affairs, aimed at developing the student environment and organizing extracurricular life at the university.
The organization’s main activities include planning and conducting cultural, educational, sports, and socially significant events that help unlock students’ potential, develop leadership skills, creativity, and civic engagement. In its work, the center follows the principles of sustainable development and contributes to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including quality education, gender equality, reduced inequalities, and partnerships for development.
One of the key priorities is the protection of students’ rights and interests. “Zhastar Ortalygy” serves as a link between students and the university administration, participates in addressing актуal student issues, and contributes to creating a comfortable, safe, and inclusive educational environment.
The organization actively collaborates with government bodies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), youth associations, and other universities, implementing joint projects and expanding opportunities for students. Special attention is given to supporting student initiatives, including startups and social or environmental projects.
Participants of the center are actively involved in volunteer activities, charity events, forums, and training sessions, which fosters a sense of social responsibility and active citizenship.
In addition, “Zhastar Ortalygy” takes part in shaping the university’s youth policy, monitors student sentiment, conducts surveys, and ensures feedback, allowing the opinions of all categories of students to be considered in decision-making.
Thus, “Zhastar Ortalygy” serves as an important platform for student self-realization, professional and personal development, and strengthening the student community based on the principles of equality, accessibility, and sustainable development.
