The sports clubs of Turan-Astana University bring together students who are actively interested in sports and lead a healthy lifestyle. The main goal of these clubs is to promote physical activity among students, foster team spirit, and popularize sports within the university community.
The activities of the sports clubs are carried out in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and aim to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including good health and well-being (SDG 3), quality education (SDG 4), reduced inequalities (SDG 10), and the development of sustainable communities (SDG 11).
The clubs provide students with opportunities to participate in various team sports, such as volleyball, football, and basketball. Regular training sessions help improve physical fitness, develop sports skills, and enhance students’ overall health. In addition, the clubs organize competitions, tournaments, and friendly matches both within the university and with other educational institutions.
Special attention is given to creating an inclusive sports environment that ensures equal access to sports activities for all students, including those with special educational needs, and provides opportunities for their active participation in university sports life.
