TAU Congress is part of the national movement “Congress of Youth of Kazakhstan” and unites active students interested in youth policy development, community initiatives, and social projects. The organization aims to cultivate leadership qualities, foster civic engagement, and involve young people in addressing актуal societal issues.
The activities of TAU Congress are carried out in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including quality education (SDG 4), gender equality and reduced inequalities (SDGs 5 and 10), promotion of peaceful and inclusive institutions (SDG 16), and creating opportunities for developing sustainable communities (SDG 11).
The primary task of the organization is to support youth projects, provide conditions for student initiatives, and engage students in community activities. Members work on projects that strengthen the youth community, enhance social connections, and create new opportunities for students.
Activities include organizing forums, educational events, training sessions, social actions, and projects aimed at youth development. Participants engage in discussions on important social issues, develop initiatives, and implement projects that contribute to societal progress. Special attention is given to creating an inclusive environment that ensures participation of all students, including those with special educational needs, in the organization’s community and project activities.
Participation in TAU Congress helps students develop leadership skills, gain experience in civic engagement, expand their social networks, and learn to actively contribute to building a sustainable and inclusive student community.
