From May 4 to May 5, 2026, an External Expert Group (EEG) is conducting the initial accreditation process for the "Marketing" and "Compliance Service" educational programs at Turan-Astana University. The visit by international and national experts is aimed at a comprehensive quality assessment of educational activities, verifying compliance with international standards, and confirming the high level of training provided to future specialists.
The expert group's work program involves a multi-level institutional and academic dialogue. The visit includes briefings and interviews with the university leadership, vice-rectors, and heads of structural units to evaluate the strategic development of the programs and the effectiveness of the quality management system. Particular emphasis is placed on human resource potential, with scheduled meetings involving deans, heads of departments, and the faculty members directly responsible for the delivery of the curriculum.
To ensure an objective assessment of the educational environment, the experts are conducting interviews with students to gauge their level of satisfaction with learning conditions. Simultaneously, a detailed analysis of the university’s physical and digital infrastructure is being carried out. The EEG is conducting visual inspections of the scientific laboratory facilities, classrooms, and the Library and Information Center, alongside monitoring the academic support of students within the "Platonus" information system.
A key phase of the accreditation process is the verification of the university's engagement with the real sector of the economy. Meetings are scheduled with major employers and strategic partners, as well as selective visits to internship and practical training sites where students demonstrate their applied skills. The final stage involves an in-depth review of teaching and methodological documentation and the regulatory framework of the programs, culminating in the formal external audit report.
