Gulnar Karimovna Saparova, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor.
Born on October 26, 1954, in Irgiz settlement, Aktobe Region, Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 1977, graduated from the Karaganda Cooperative Institute. After graduation, worked at the Shymkent Cooperative Technical School. In 1979, after completing the pedagogical faculty of the Moscow Cooperative Institute of Centrosoyuz, began working as an assistant at the Department of Economics of the Karaganda Cooperative Institute.
In 1983, entered postgraduate studies at the Moscow Cooperative Institute, where she defended her Candidate dissertation on the topic: “State Procurement of Livestock Raw Materials and Ways of Its Improvement.”
In 2004, defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Socio-Economic Problems of Consumer Cooperation in Kazakhstan: Theory, Experience, Prospects.”
Before defending her doctoral dissertation, worked as Head of the Department of Economics and Management, and later as Director of the Scientific and Educational Center at the Karaganda Economic University.
From 2006 to 2008, worked as Professor of the Department of Economics and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
From 2008, served as Vice President of Financial and Economic College JSC; in 2009 – Director of the Financial and Economic College of Financial Academy.
From 2010 to 2015, worked as Dean of Postgraduate Education at Financial Academy.
In 2014, concurrently served as Director of the Northern Branch of the Kazakh Research Institute of Agro-Industrial Complex and Rural Development.
Currently works as Professor of the Department of Business Administration at Turan-Astana University.
In 2009, awarded the academic title of Professor in the specialty “Economics” and became a recipient of the “Best University Teacher” grant.
In 2015, awarded the title of Academician of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
In 2016, awarded the badge “Y. Altynsarin.”
Author of more than 140 scientific works, including monographs and textbooks. Key publications include works indexed in Scopus and international journals on agricultural economics, food security, regional development, and innovation.
Participated in research projects commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Supervisor and opponent of doctoral and candidate dissertations; under her supervision, 4 candidate and 3 doctoral dissertations have been defended.
Completed internships in the UK, Russia, Belarus, and the UAE, and has received numerous awards and letters of appreciation from government bodies and professional organizations.
