TAU Alliance is a branch of the national organization “Alliance of Students of Kazakhstan,” bringing together active and initiative-minded students of the university. The organization focuses on developing the student movement, supporting youth initiatives, and protecting students’ rights. It plays a key role in fostering civic engagement, promoting student self-governance, and facilitating interaction between students, university administration, and government institutions.
The activities of TAU Alliance are carried out in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including quality education (SDG 4), reduced inequalities (SDG 10), building effective institutions and partnerships (SDGs 16 and 17), and developing inclusive and sustainable student communities (SDG 11).
A core focus of the organization is protecting students’ rights and interests. Members identify актуal issues and challenges faced by students, participate in discussions, and work with university leadership to find solutions. The organization supports students in matters related to the educational process, learning conditions, and the overall student environment.
The main objective of TAU Alliance is to create favorable conditions for student development, support their initiatives, strengthen the student community, and increase youth engagement in public life. The organization promotes leadership skills, helps students implement their ideas, and encourages participation in projects aimed at improving student life.
Activities include organizing educational and social events, participating in forums, hosting meetings and discussions on актуal student issues, and implementing projects for youth development. Special attention is given to creating an inclusive environment that ensures all students, including those with special educational needs, can participate in student initiatives and projects.
Through involvement in TAU Alliance, students develop leadership and organizational skills, gain experience in advocating for student interests, and contribute to a more comfortable, fair, and inclusive educational environment at the university.
