TAU Rocket is a student organization for contemporary dance, uniting students passionate about dance and stage performance. The organization provides members with opportunities to develop their creative abilities, improve physical fitness, and express themselves through dance. Its primary goal is to cultivate flexibility, rhythm, artistry, and teamwork skills.
The organization operates in line with the principles of sustainable development and focuses on advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including quality education (SDG 4), gender equality (SDG 5), reduced inequalities (SDG 10), and building sustainable communities (SDG 11).
TAU Rocket aims to popularize contemporary dance styles, create a supportive creative environment, and encourage active student participation in the university’s cultural life. Members prepare dance routines and perform at concerts, festivals, and various university events.
The organization’s activities include regular training sessions, rehearsals, choreography development, and participation in competitions and dance projects. Special attention is given to fostering an inclusive creative environment, ensuring equal opportunities for all students, including those with special educational needs.
