At our university, a staff psychologist is available. The Psychological Service is a structural подразделение of Turan-Astana University and is part of the institution’s student development and support system.
The psychologist’s work is aimed at creating favorable psychological and pedagogical conditions for students’ mental and personal development, fostering a healthy psychological climate within the student community, and providing comprehensive psychological support to all participants in the educational process, including assistance for students from vulnerable groups.
Main goal of the psychologist’s work:
To provide timely, comprehensive, and student-centered psychological assistance in the following areas:

You can обратиться to the psychologist with the following issues:
1. Difficulties in studies
If you find it hard to study, have problems with concentration, memory, motivation, or experience difficulties interacting with teachers, the psychologist will help identify the causes and find ways to address them.
2. Relationships within the group
If you struggle with making connections, communicating, or feeling confident in a group, you can develop communication skills and find internal resources for more comfortable interaction with others.
3. Relationships with parents
Conflicts, misunderstandings, and emotional distance with family members are common. The psychologist will help improve dialogue, mutual understanding, and build more harmonious relationships.
4. Choosing a life path
If you are unsure about your future or have difficulty choosing a direction, the psychologist will help you clarify your goals, interests, and opportunities.
5. Self-development and self-management
You can develop skills in goal setting, time management, emotional resilience, as well as improve memory, attention, thinking, and creativity.
