Inclusive Exhibitions as a Platform for Achieving the SDGs

Contribution to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals has become a key focus of student participation from the Department of Psychology and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines in the ECOART exhibition “Seeing with the Heart: Nature at Your Fingertips” and the numismatic exhibition “The History of Monetary Circulation in Kazakhstan: Three Eras — One Country,” held on December 3, 2025, at Turan-Astana University to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Within the framework of SDG 4 “Quality Education,” students contributed to the creation of an inclusive educational and cultural environment that ensures equal access to knowledge and creative practices for all participants. Through their involvement in organizing and conducting the exhibitions, they expanded opportunities for informal learning and promoted the development of an inclusive culture.

In line with SDG 10 “Reduced Inequalities,” students actively participated in initiatives aimed at supporting people with disabilities, fostering tolerance, and strengthening the principles of social justice.

Particular importance was also given to partnership development (SDG 17 “Partnerships for the Goals”), implemented through collaboration with the public association “My View,” the Inclusive Support Center of ENU, and the volunteer club “Komek.”

Thus, student participation not only made a significant contribution to socially oriented events but also represented a practical implementation of the global sustainable development agenda aimed at building an inclusive and equitable society.
