National Day of Mourning in the Republic of Kazakhstan

By the Decree of the Head of State, September 25, 2026 has been declared a National Day of Mourning in the Republic of Kazakhstan, in connection with the tragic loss of military personnel who died in the line of military and official duty in the Mangistau Region.

The leadership, faculty, staff, and student community of Turan-Astana University express their deepest and most sincere condolences to the families, loved ones, and fellow servicemen of the fallen soldiers.

This is an irreparable loss for the entire country and for each of us. Defending the Motherland, staying true to the oath, and serving the nation require the highest courage. The memory of the heroes who gave their lives in the line of military duty will forever remain in our hearts.

Sharing the pain of this profound loss, Turan-Astana University mourns together with the entire nation. The blessed memory of the fallen sons of the Kazakh land will be preserved in the history of our country forever.
