Professional Development of Faculty in Inclusive Education and Contribution to the SDGs

Faculty members of the Department of Psychology and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines systematically undergo professional development. In particular, advanced training courses were completed from December 20 to 30, 2025, and from January 13 to 21, 2026. Special attention is given to relevant areas such as inclusive education, as well as family and gender psychology.

Mastering modern approaches to inclusive education enables faculty to create an educational environment that takes into account the diverse needs of students, ensuring equal access to quality education. In turn, deepening knowledge in family and gender psychology contributes to students’ understanding of social processes and promotes the values of equality, respect, and psychological well-being.

This activity is directly aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 “Quality Education,” which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable education, and SDG 5 “Gender Equality,” which focuses on empowering all women and girls. Thus, professional development of faculty contributes not only to their professional growth but also to the implementation of global sustainable development priorities.
