Developing an Inclusive Environment: Professional Development Courses Launched at the University
Ensuring equal access to quality education and creating a barrier-free environment are priority tasks for modern higher education. As part of this strategy, Turan-Astana University is hosting professional development courses on the topic "Inclusive Education in Higher Education" from January 13 to 21.
The event is held as part of the traditional Winter Scientific and Methodological School and aims to enhance the professional competencies of the faculty. The course program covers key aspects of psychological and pedagogical support for students with special educational needs, the adaptation of curricula, and the implementation of specialized teaching methodologies that facilitate the full integration of every learner into the academic process.
The course is led by Manatzhan Tleuzhanova, Candidate of Economic Sciences and Professor. Leveraging her extensive scientific and pedagogical experience, the lecturer introduces participants to the legal framework of inclusion and practical case studies designed to transform the university’s educational space into an inclusive ecosystem.
This systematic approach to faculty training allows the university not only to comply with international standards but also to foster a culture of academic solidarity and equal opportunity for all participants in the educational process.
May the acquired knowledge open new horizons in the scientific and pedagogical activities of every Winter School participant!
