ROUND TABLE: “The Unique Status of the ICRC and Its Principles”

On October 24, 2025, Associate Professor A. Z. Tulegenov, PhD in Law, from the Department of National and International Law, together with students majoring in International Law, took part in the round table “The Unique Status of the ICRC and Its Principles” at L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

The event was attended by Jamila Hammami, Head of Operations of the Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Central Asia, as well as representatives of the Red Crescent Society.

The discussion provided an opportunity for participants to explore key issues of international humanitarian law and the important role of the ICRC in protecting human rights during armed conflicts.
