TAU-2026 Admissions Committee: Official Launch of Document Submission
Turan - Astana University (TAU) hereby announces the commencement of the application and document submission process for the new 2026–2027 academic year across all educational levels: Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD Doctoral programs.

By decision of the Academic Council of Turan - Astana University dated May 28, 2026, the Regulations for the Admission of Learners to Turan-Astana University were approved. This regulatory document has been fully developed in compliance with legislation in the field of education and legal acts of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MSHE RK).
The quotas for admission, as well as methodological recommendations regarding the alignment of related groups of educational programs for college graduates, have been officially approved.
The Regulations outline the admission procedures for Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs, and govern the system of benefits, discounts, and social grants provided by Turan - Astana University.
TAU has developed innovative educational programs adapted to current labor market demands, structured by the following levels of study:
Bachelor's Degree: Business, Management, and Law; Information and Communication Technologies; Humanities; Design, Services, and Tourism.
Master's Degree: Profile-specific and scientific-pedagogical tracks, including new highly demanded accredited programs: «Marketing» and «Compliance Service».
PhD Doctoral Degree: Training of highly qualified scientific, research, and pedagogical personnel under the «Economics», «Finance», and «Management» programs.
Key Stages of the Admission Campaign
Applicants must strictly observe the approved deadlines for the primary stages:
Submission of applications for creative examinations (Field of study: «Design»): From June 20 to July 7.
Conducting special and creative examinations: From June 8 to July 15.
Submission of applications to participate in the competition for State Educational Grants: From June 13 to July 20.
Enrollment of first-year students: Until August 25.
UNT Threshold Scores
The following minimum threshold scores have been established for applicants entering Bachelor's degree programs:
General Educational Programs: No less than 55 scores.
Field of study «Law»: No less than 75 scores.
Minimum requirements per UNT subject: «History of Kazakhstan», the first and second profile subjects - no less than 5 scores each; «Reading Literacy» and «Mathematical Literacy» - no less than 3 scores each.
List of Core Documents Required for Admission
To submit an application to the Admissions Committee, the following package of documents must be provided:
Application addressed to the Head of the University (completed directly at the Admissions Committee office);
Original copy of the educational certificate (Certificate of General Secondary Education or Diploma of Technical and Vocational / Post-Secondary / Higher Education) along with its transcript;
Identity document (original for verification, along with a copy);
Copy of birth certificate (if the applicant is under 18 years of age);
Identity document of a parent or legal guardian (if the applicant is under 18 years of age);
UNT Certificate (for Bachelor's programs) or CT Certificate (for postgraduate programs);
Personal data sheet from the HR department and a document confirming employment history for individuals with professional work experience (for postgraduate programs);
TOEFL, IELTS, DSH, TFI, DELF, DALF, or TCF certificates (for postgraduate programs, if available);
8 photographs of 3x4 cm size;
Copy of the vaccination card (Form 063);
Medical certificate Form No. 075-U;
Copy of the military registration certificate or military ID (for male applicants);
Official certificate of passing the state language exam (KAZTEST) issued by the National Testing Center (with the exception of foreign citizens) for applicants entering PhD Doctoral programs.
