The spring of 2026 brought a whole array of milestone medals, trophies, and top prizes from major national and international olympiads and competitions, organized under the auspices of the MSHE (Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan), to the university's treasury. These achieved results clearly demonstrate that our university has firmly established its status as one of the leading higher educational institutions in the country.

Ramazan Nabiev, a student of the Department of Design, Service, and Tourism, became an official representative of Kazakhstan at the prestigious International Young Artist Forum held in Istanbul. Ramazan's participation was marked by receiving an exclusive Fully Funded grant. This format, which provides full coverage of travel expenses, accommodation in a five-star hotel, and participation in the educational program, confirms the exceptional quality of our student's portfolio and the recognition of his talent by the international expert community.

​The main highlight of the forum was Ramazan's solo exhibition in Istanbul. Through the prism of digital art, he presented the historical heritage of Kazakhstan, allowing the international expert community to experience the depth and aesthetics of the Great Steppe's cultural code in a completely new way. Additionally, Ramazan Nabiev won the Grand Prix at the "Rukhani Mura zhane Oner" international competition at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU), defending his breakthrough project, "Abai and Artificial Intelligence."

​The project "Elib University Electronic Library," under the leadership of Erasyl Bakhytzhanuly, Head of the Digital Transformation Department, secured an honorable 2nd place at the massive ENU AI-Sana EXPO, outperforming 40 cutting-edge IT developments from across the country.

​The achievements of our students have been recognized with departmental awards from public authorities and law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Nazym Kalmakhan was awarded the medal "For Contribution to Strengthening Constitutional Legality" by the leadership of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

​Karina Filippi won 1st place in the national competition "Best Lawyer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (at the B. Beisenov Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs). The award was personally presented to the winner by the Vice-Minister of Internal Affairs, Police Major-General S.A. Adilov.

​Against the backdrop of growing demands for specialists in AI and network infrastructure, a clear testament to our quality of education was demonstrated by our students' stellar performance at the National Interuniversity Olympiad "Network Technologies based on Huawei." This achievement confirms the efficiency of our university's educational programs in information technology and our students' capacity to solve applied, international-level tasks.

​The Olympiad, organized by the global technology leader Huawei, gathered the strongest representatives of technical specialties from all over Kazakhstan. Participants worked on complex scenarios involving the configuration and optimization of network infrastructure, requiring deep knowledge of data transfer protocols and modern system architecture.

​Nuray Olzhabayeva - secured an honorable 1st place. First place in the individual standings confirms Nuray's exceptional level of technical training and her ability to apply a systematic approach to designing high-tech solutions.

​Igor Tokmachev - secured 2nd place. This result demonstrates high qualification and professional resilience in an environment of intense technical competition.

​Participation in competitions of this caliber allows "Turan-Astana" University to integrate the advanced experience of international corporations into the educational process. ​The university students demonstrated intellectual leadership across diverse fields. The team of group MP 24/1 snatched 1st place in the national tournament "AUYLJAS QUIZ," organized by the "Auyl" political party and its youth wing, "Auyl Jastary."

​Our students are setting trends and showing intellectual leadership in design and the creative industries. Bolysova Ulzhalgas won 2nd place at the National Subject Olympiad in Fashion and Clothing Design at the T.K. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts in Almaty.

​Ulzhalgas Dzholbarisova took 2nd place in the "Eco-Design" category with her project "Amanat." Special awards for leadership in ethno-design were presented to students: Dzhamilya Turganova, Nazgul Karimova, Amina Malisheva, Valeria Berkhold, and Viktoria Osadchaya.

​The university's speleotourism team demonstrated a steel team spirit and captured the title of Absolute Champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
