On October 25, 1990, Kazakhstan announced to the world that it had gained sovereignty. From that day on, our people began to create a new state on their land, achieving the greatest ideal of the nation - Independence.

Paying tribute to the historical event, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev gave this holiday the status of a national holiday and noted: "The revival of the Republic Day in the holiday calendar is the establishment of historical justice."

Republic Day marked the birth of a new sovereign and independent country - the Republic of Kazakhstan and became a holiday of unity and consolidation, a holiday of creation and good deeds.
May there always be a peaceful sky above our Motherland, and may the main values ​​remain unity and harmony, respect for historical identity and the preservation of spiritual heritage. May peace, goodness and prosperity always accompany you.
