Webinar for 4th-Year Students

On October 17, 2025, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of “National and International Law” of Turan-Astana University, L.A. Temirzhanova, together with Bauyrzhan Sabitov, Chief Legal Counsel of Sergek Group and legal advisor of Astana, held a webinar for 4th-year students of groups YuP-22-2, YuP-24-2, and US-YuP-23-2.
 Topics:
– “Mediation as a Mechanism for Dispute Resolution. Practical Aspects of Applying the Mediation Procedure.”
– “Sergek — Involvement of Private and State Organizations as Experts (Article 77 of the Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan). Issues of Violation Recording and Appeals.”
The practicing lawyer shared valuable experience, discussed pressing issues related to the recording of violations and appeals, explained practical aspects of mediation procedures, and answered students’ questions.
 The participants were presented with a large amount of empirical data and statistics. Students actively engaged in the dialogue, making the webinar both dynamic and informative.
