Webinar on the topic: "Innovative methods of work on crime prevention"


 

On March 03, 2025, the Department of National and International Law of the Turan-Astana University, together with the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies at the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held an international webinar on the topic: "Innovative methods of work on crime prevention." The webinar was attended by students of the Turan-Astana University of educational programs "Jurisprudence", "Legal regulation of the economy", "International law", «Digital jurisprudence», as well as students and representatives of the Kazakh-American Free University (Ust-Kamenogorsk), Alikhan Bokeikhan University (Semey), Miras University ( Shymkent) Kostanay branch of Chelyabinsk State University, Ust-Kamenogorsk State University College No. 1 of the Higher Educational Institution of East Kazakhstan Region at the KUIS "Institution No. 22" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The speakers were:

Artur Baymakhanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Special Legal Disciplines at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies at the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PhD, Justice Advisor;

Augustkhan Syrym Augusthanuly, Associate Professor of the Department of Special Legal Disciplines at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies at the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PhD, Justice Advisor;

Zhanat Akhatovich Syzdykov, 1st year Master's student, Senior investigator of the Pre-Trial Investigation Service of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major of the Anti-Corruption Service.

During the event, the latest methods of work on crime prevention were discussed, the speakers shared their scientific views on this issue, and also answered students' questions.

Scientific cooperation in this format allows you to reach the maximum audience of listeners, despite the distances between cities. It follows that students have the opportunity to gain new theoretical and practical knowledge from the best specialists without interrupting the learning process.
