Toktar Aubakirov Basketball Cup Held at Turan-Astana University

Turan-Astana University hosted the traditional basketball tournament for the Toktar Ongarbayuly Aubakirov Cup among students of the city's higher education institutions. The competition brought together the strongest teams from capital universities and was held in an atmosphere of genuine sporting rivalry and student unity.

​         The tournament served as a platform to demonstrate athletic skill, team spirit, and the drive for victory. Throughout the games, the teams showcased spectacular basketball, dynamic attacks, and a persistent struggle for every ball.

​         Following the competition, the prize places were distributed as follows:

​         1st Place - Maqsut Narikbayev University (MNU);

2nd Place - L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU);

3rd Place - Academy of Physical Culture and Mass Sports (APEMS).

​         The winners and runners-up were awarded cups, diplomas, and commemorative prizes. The tournament was not only a sporting event but also an important platform for strengthening friendly ties between students from different universities.

​         The organizers noted the high level of preparation of the participants and expressed gratitude to all teams for their participation, and to the fans for their active support.
