Turan-Astana University Hosts Career Fair for Junior and Senior Students
Last Friday, Turan-Astana University served as a key platform for dialogue between future graduates and the country’s leading employers. The event, aimed at facilitating employment and professional self-determination for students, brought together approximately 20 organizations. The participants included government agencies, national companies, private businesses, and public foundations.
The venue hosted representatives from various state structures, such as the capital's departments of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and the Court Administration, alongside major corporations including Kazakhtelecom JSC. Furthermore, the active participation of the Audit Commission and the Labor Mobility Center underscored the high demand for qualified specialists within the capital’s administrative sector.
During the fair, organizational representatives presented current vacancies and internship programs, providing students with the opportunity to undergo initial interviews and discuss requirements for young specialists. Discussions focused heavily on in-demand competencies, with employers emphasizing the importance of practical skills, initiative, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Among the invited partners were Voenizirovannaya Zheleznodorozhnaya Okhrana LLP, Centras Brands LLP, the "JOLTAP" project, the youth wing of the "Respublica" party, the "Astana Zhastary" Youth Resource Center, and several other large enterprises such as Megakids Momyshuly LLP, Korkem 2011 LLP, and the Engineering Center of the Material and Technical Support Management.
Such events strengthen the University's partnership ties with the real sector of the economy and enhance the level of practice-oriented training for students. For many senior students, participating in this fair marked the first step toward a successful career start in their chosen fields.
Turan-Astana University intends to continue developing these cooperation formats, ensuring its graduates maintain a competitive edge in today's labor market.
