Turan-Astana University Secures Accreditation for New Educational Programs

Turan-Astana University has successfully confirmed the alignment of its educational programs with rigorous national and international standards.

Following the decision of the Accreditation Council of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA), the Master's programs in «Marketing» and «Compliance Service» have officially received primary accreditation for a term of 5 years.

This decision was preceded by an audit conducted by the External Expert Group (EEG), which concluded its work at the university on May 5, 2026. The experts' visit served as a pivotal stage in the independent evaluation of the university's academic and educational activities.

During the audit, the expert commission conducted a comprehensive evaluation across several core areas:

Briefings and interviews were held with the Rector, Vice-Rectors, and heads of structural subdivisions. The experts thoroughly assessed the development trajectory of the new programs, the efficiency of the quality management system, and the qualifications of the faculty.

The commission conducted a visual inspection of the scientific laboratory facilities, classrooms, and the Library and Information Center. Additionally, the functional capacity of academic student support within the «Platonus» information system was reviewed. The university's material and technical infrastructure fully demonstrated its readiness to deliver high-quality personnel training.

Interviews with leading employers and corporate partners of the university formed a crucial part of the audit. The experts visited active internship bases, where they evaluated the applied competencies of the students and the overall market demand for future graduates.

Meetings were held with Master's students, during which the independent experts noted a high level of student satisfaction regarding learning conditions and research opportunities.

The work of the commission culminated in an in-depth review of academic, methodological, regulatory, and legal documentation. Based on the EEG report and the formulated recommendations, the Accreditation Council issued a positive decision.

Securing primary accreditation for the maximum allowable term is the result of systematic teamwork by the entire university staff. It stands as clear confirmation that TAU programs successfully meet the pressing demands of the modern economy.
